Skype Offers Free Calls To U.S. and Canada!

Skype announced today that they will offer free SkypeOut calls to US and Canadian based land lines and cell phone lines until the end of the year. Almost all the cell phone companies offer free long distance calling, but they make up for it in monthly service fees. I am not sure how a free product offering free long distance can make any money at all, but I am not complaining. Also, "... it works on all platforms where SkypeOut is available, which at this time means Windows, Mac, Linux and Pocket PC." So, if you make a lot of land line long distance calls or you are out of minutes on your cell phone, download Skype and start talking for free!

I’m impressed, I must say.

I’m impressed, I must say. Rarely do I come across a blog that’s equally educative and entertaining, and let me tell you, you’ve hit the nail on the head. The problem is something that too few people are speaking intelligently about. I’m very happy that I stumbled across this during my hunt for something concerning this.
