So I just happened across this link to a Forbes.com story about my former boss. When I went to the page I noticed a slight flash as I started to read the article. All of a sudden, Steve Forbes walked out onto my taskbar and started welcoming me to Forbes.com and asking me to click on a box to view some website. Upgrades

We have updated our webserver to help deal with the increased hits we have been getting. We also upgraded drupal to 4.7.2 from 4.6.x. Hopefully this should keep us going for a while. We are still cleaning up a few things from the Drupal upgrade so if you see something that doesn't look right please let us know.

Installing Cinelerra Packages On Ubuntu Dapper

I have been having trouble installing Cinelerra on Dapper Drake. I finally found the answer here. Now Cinelerra is working so I can test things out on Dapper in preparation for Episode 6 :)

Skype Offers Free Calls To U.S. and Canada!

Skype announced today that they will offer free SkypeOut calls to US and Canadian based land lines and cell phone lines until the end of the year. Almost all the cell phone companies offer free long distance calling, but they make up for it in monthly service fees. I am not sure how a free product offering free long distance can make any money at all, but I am not complaining.
